CORPUS CHRISTI PARISH

6350 Nanaimo St, Vancouver, BC V5P 4K7
Our Ceremony will take place within a Catholic Wedding Mass. We will begin seating at 10:30 AM and the Bride will arrive at 11:00 AM.
We encourage Mass appropriate attire. Details can be found in our FAQ.
After our Ceremony, we will be serving refreshments and drinks just outside the Church until 2:00pm.

WELCOME TO THE SCHMIDT FAMILY HOME

Please join us at the Schmidt family home at 5:30pm. We will begin with an opportunity for guests to find their seats, socialize, order drinks, enjoy appetizers, and play some yard games. 
We are thankful for our friends Mark and Shelly who will be directing vehicles to their parking locations.

  • When you arrive you will be greeted by our parking attendants, Mark and Shelly. They will direct you where to park, as some spots are being saved for the caterer and other vendors
  • Find your table and explore the reception space. We’ll have croquet, bocce, washers, a kids zone with toys, a photobooth (weather dependent), and another little photo area. 
  • We have rented washrooms
  • Please stay out the house, forest, shop, and barn

  • July 1, 2026

  • If we do not receive your R.S.V.P. By July 1, 2026, if will be marked as “no”. We will miss you celebrating with us, however, we have to provide a total guest count to our vendors in the timely manner they have given us. Thank you for understanding.

  • Due to the more intimate nature of our wedding reception space, we ask that only invited guests attend. Your invitation will include all the guests in your party/family who are invited.

  • Yes! Your children are included on your invitation and we would love to add their joyful presence to our special day. Please don’t worry about them crying or getting fussy during mass, we have a very family friendly Church and would love to have them there! There will be lots for them to explore and play with at the reception as well!

  • For the Wedding Mass:

    • For the Ladies: please keep your shoulders covered (wide straps are ok), at least knee length dresses

    • For the Men: please avoid shorts, hats, and open toe footwear

    For the Reception:

    • The reception will take place outdoors, so please dress appropriately for the weather. The tables will mostly be in the shade and we will have a tent if it rains (pray it doesn’t rain though!). Garden party attire is encouraged so pastel or bright colours are welcomed! Please no stiletto heels to protect dad’s lawn, block heels are ok though

  • Parking attendants will be on hand to direct you.

  • We kindly ask that you keep your phone and cameras away during the Wedding Mass to be fully present to witnessing our joy. We have hired a professional photographer and other people trying to take photos can often get in her way or interfere with the background. We will make sure to make all her photos available to everyone after the Wedding.

Our Registry

Thank you so much for celebrating this special day with us! Your presence is more than enough. However, if you would like to get us a gift, we already have most of what we need, so we would appreciate a cash gift towards our honeymoon or future home. Thank you so much!
